There’s a lot going on in our neighborhood these days. We’ve been edging, mowing, planting and trimming, as we plan for new area projects pending our county grant application announcement. In as much, it truly is the Summer of Improvement, and it prompts us all to take a closer look at our own properties and ask:
· If I have a tile roof? If so, when was the last time it was cleaned?
· How about the mailbox? Does it need a paint job? New numbers or just straightened up a bit?
· What about the flower beds? (They can be the worst). When was the last time we trimmed our bushes & palm fronds or replaced mulch? While mowing is critical, so is edging your curb and driveway. Clean gutter-edging keeps the drainage path clear for storm season.
· As always please remember to take trash cans in on Monday after pickup and note excess containers, empty pots, etc. that may be visible from the front yard.
These efforts may seem small, but they really make a difference! 🙂
